Ways to Give
By Mail
We gladly accept donation by check, payable to the Forrest General Healthcare Foundation. Our mailing address is P.O. Box 19010, Hattiesburg, MS 39404. If you choose to mail your contribution, please include your name and contact information. If the gift is a memorial or tribute, please also include the name and contact information of the honoree’s family, where notification is to be sent.
Online
Make a secure credit card gift. You can designate your donation or allow the Forrest General Healthcare Foundation to use it where it is needed most. You can also make your gift in honor or in member of someone special.

Memorial/Honorarium Gifts
Gifts in memory or in honor may be given as tribute to an individual, family, employee, physician, or department within the hospital. An acknowledgement letter will be sent without mention of the gift amount.
Planned Gifts/Legacy Society
Consider a “lasting gift.” Whether through a planned gift arranged during your lifetime or a bequest in your will, support and display confidence in the mission of Forrest General Healthcare Foundation by including the Foundation in your long-term charitable giving plans through The Legacy Society.

Planning a legacy and the distribution of your wealth can be a rewarding experience. A charitable bequest is a simple and flexible way to make a planned gift within your will or living trust. This method does not require you to relinquish your assets at the time of your gift, and can result in lower estate taxes for you and your heirs.

After your lifetime, the Forrest General Healthcare Foundation can continue its mission with our beneficiary designation. Simply name the Forrest General Healthcare Foundation as a beneficiary to receive assets such as retirement plans and insurance policies after your death. You would complete a form that is entirely separate from your will – which makes it an easy way to give!
The choices you make at the time of your gift can be adjusted or changed at any time you desire.
The most frequently used assets to fund these types of donations are: life insurance, commercial annuities, retirement plan assets, bank accounts, or brokerage accounts.

An endowed gift to the Forrest General Healthcare Foundation today provides a brighter picture for our future. When you make a donation to our endowment, you give a gift with both immediate and long-term benefits.
It works like this: Endowment donations are invested. A portion of the annual income from those investments is used for immediate needs for the Forrest General Healthcare Foundation. The remaining funds are reinvested to ensure indefinite support.
The most frequently used ways to fund your donation are: cash, real estate, appreciated securities tangible personal property.
